Keeping the pace with India's confident strides in the global economy, the sixth edition of the International Garment, Textile, Leather Machinery and Accessories Exhibition - IGMATEX 2010 is scheduled to be organized in Kanpur from 23rd to 25th October 2010
Major Focus
IGMATEX'08 will be catering to the segment of Garment, Textile, Leather & Hosiery machinery. Embellishment is a significant part of Garment making process. Due importance has been given to accessories in IGMATEX 2010. Accessories and designing implements shall be included in Accessories section.
IGMATEX, will facilitate its exhibitors to make a presentation of their technology and innovative products in the interactive session during the exhibition.

They feel that since the location of the SEZ is good for business activity, if the SEZ is allowed to be utilised for apparel park, it would give a fillip to the industry. State Government has agreed to look into the matter. Saurabh Patel, minister of state for industries, said, "SEZ is a Central government subject, but the state government would work to get some part of Sarangpur Mill land for the apparel park."
